I’m Josh Davis, founder of Precision VDC, and I’ve been in the plumbing and mechanical trade since 2002.

I started in the field—pipe in hand, boots on concrete—learning how buildings actually come together. That hands-on experience shaped everything I do today.

About seven years ago, I transitioned into CAD and BIM coordination. At first, it was just a tool. But I quickly realized it could bridge the gap between office and field—and eliminate costly surprises.

I didn’t just learn the software—I rebuilt how coordination should work. Today, I specialize in creating clash-free, fabrication-ready models that installers can trust. Whether it’s Revit, Navisworks, 3D laser scanning, or point file generation, every file I touch is built with one thing in mind: real-world installability.

At Precision VDC, we take a collaborative approach to consulting. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions tailored to their unique challenges. Our process is transparent, results-driven, and built to help contractors and project teams succeed.
